Your child already knows Henry. This is where they get to prove it.
One game for every episode of Season 1 - 52 of them. Your child watches the episode, opens the game, and plays back everything that happened in it: what Henry actually said, the color of a scarf, who was sitting in the corner of the room, the small thing tucked into the background that nobody notices the first time around.
It is not a quiz. It is the episode again, from the inside.
WHAT IT DOES FOR YOUR CHILD
Watching is passive. This is not. Every question sends your child back into the picture to look harder, remember longer, and put things in order.
Listening recall - they have to remember real lines of dialogue, word for word, exactly as Henry says them.
Visual attention - 261 objects are hidden across the pack, in the corners of frames your child has already watched without seeing.
Working memory - a seven-second look at a scene, then the picture disappears and the question comes.
Sequencing - four moments from the story, shuffled, and your child puts the day back in the right order.
Reading in English - every question and every answer is written at A1–A2 level, in the same plain English as the show.
And they can do all of it alone. No adult has to sit beside them, and there is nothing they can break.
NO SCORES. NO GRADES. NO STARS.
There is no mark at the end. A wrong answer gets a warm nudge and another try, never a red cross. After three misses on a hunt, the game quietly shows your child where to look, so nobody ever gets stuck and gives up. A row of acorns fills up as they go - that is progress, not a grade.
THE GAMES GET HARDER AS THE SEASON GOES ON
Episode 1 has 25 tasks. Episode 52 has 49 - nearly double. The early village games are short and gentle. By the London episodes there are more characters to tell apart, longer lines of dialogue to remember, and harder things to find. Your child grows into it across the season instead of hitting a wall on day one.
WHAT'S INSIDE EACH GAME
Story questions with three answers to choose from. Character rounds - four portraits, one is the character you were asked for. Color rounds. A seven-second Look and Remember scene. Two hidden-object hunts and one find all three. A four-picture put it in order. And a matching-pairs memory game with six characters to finish.
Around 5 to 10 minutes per game, and the Play Again button means it never runs out - the pictures are the same, so the second run is faster and the third is a race.
WHAT YOU NEED
A Windows or Mac computer.
Any browser - Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari. Nothing to install, no account, no sign-up.
No internet connection while playing. Every picture, every sound and every font is built into the file itself, so once it is on the computer it works on a plane, in a car, at grandma's house.
The episode. Each game asks only about what your child actually saw on screen in that episode, so watch it first - that is the whole point.
WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
Your child does not have to finish a game in one sitting. Close it at any point and the game remembers the task they stopped on. Next time the button says Resume instead of Play, and it opens on that exact task, not back at the beginning. The tasks come in a fixed order and cannot be skipped ahead. The Play Again button starts the whole game over from task one, on purpose.
Progress is kept by the browser on that one computer, separately for each of the 52 episodes. Open the same file in the same browser and it is waiting where you left it. Open it in a different browser, move the file to another folder, use a private window or clear your browsing data, and that game starts from the beginning again.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
52 separate HTML files, one per episode, named in order: Henry S1E1, Henry S1E2, and so on.
Each file is between 1.7 MB and 4.2 MB. The complete pack is about 121 MB.
Save the folder anywhere on the computer. To play, double-click the file for the episode you just watched - it opens like a web page and the game starts.
Background music plays softly and can be switched off inside the game with one tap.
Nothing is collected, nothing is uploaded, and no data ever leaves the computer.
